Philosophy

Sustainable by Nature

Build Less. Grow More.

farmPAD was designed around a simple idea — create less architecture and leave more room for nature.

The home uses a lightweight pre-engineered steel structure, exposed brick and Kota stone, reducing dependence on conventional concrete construction. Existing trees were retained wherever possible, natural cross-ventilation reduces the need for artificial cooling, and seasonal water is guided back into the land to support groundwater recharge.

Around the home, an evolving food forest brings together fruit trees, native vegetation, seasonal produce, medicinal plants and pollinator-friendly species — creating a landscape that is lived in, not merely looked at.
